When
we select a location for one of our centres we ensure that
it is perfectly suited to the purpose.
As you undoubtedly know,
it is always easier to learn a language in its counrtry of
origin.- but have you thought about regional accents ? A
course in Scotland, Ireland or the North of England may needlessly
complicate your studies. This is why we have preferred to
base our centres where there is little or no regional accent.
Accordingly they are situated
in the 'green belt ' surrounding London at :
Harrow, Pinner, Northwood
and Rickmansworth. Each centre is close to a London underground
station providing fast and easy access to the 'West End'
and the sights, shops and monuments which have given London
its worldwide reputation.
HARROW-ON-THE-HILL is
probably best known for its famous public school which has
educated kings and prime ministers alike but it is also remarkable
for its magnificent architecture.
PINNER has
developed from a sixteenth century village and many of the
old world pubs and shops still thrive in a town centre surrounded
by parks, woodlands and sports grounds.
RICKMANSWORTH is
equally picturesque and has the advantage of being close
to a large and beautiful lake (site of many memorable barbecues)
which is ideal for a number of watersports.
NORTHWOOD is
an elegant residential area bordered on three sides by very
attractive golf clubs, including the internationally famous
Moor Park.
